Me at 33

To cry when feeling any emotion, and no I’m not drunk and it’s not my period.

To wear color and be loud.

To take up space after shrinking for so long.

To remember that I can breathe.

To do as I please, this is my life.

To feel empowered because I made a decision on my own.

To be covered in silly tattoos.

To wear pink everyday but also love an all black fit.

To express myself.

To remember that my feelings are valid.

To be curious.

To give people the same energy that they give me.

To love BIG and not be ashamed.

To have dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner.

To have mid day solo dance parties in my living room.

To be proud of myself for having morning and nighttime rituals and being okay with them looking different each day.

To let go of controlling everything.

To have boundaries.

To know that I am enough and doing the best that I can everyday.

To be cringe.

To be black and proud.

To break generational trauma.

To be more than just an ally. 🌈😌
