AYA's Last Minute Halloween Costume Guide

Halloween is next week and if you’re anything like me, you’ve had your costumes picked out since August. However, if you’re a costume procrastinator, this is for you and you’ve come to the right place.

I’ve gone ahead and compiled a list of last minute/easy costumes that are also gender neutral too!

First up: That’s that me Espresso (Espresso Martini/Afternoon Espresso), for the cocktail (or caffeine) connoisseur

What you’ll need: Brown Beret, White/Off-White/Beige Top, Brown Pants
The Beret is the bean, the shirt is the foam, and the pants make the martini/cup of espresso whole, voila! Carry around a martini glass or espresso mug for some added flair.

Costume idea #2: (Two Person or Single Person Costume) Vampire Weekend, a really ‘punny’ costume

What you’ll need: Two shirts, one with the word Saturday and one with the Word Sunday on them, a collared cape, fake blood. Take it up a notch and add in some frightening fangs.

Next up: The Sun, Moon, and Stars (Group Costume) - A proper celestial event!

What You’ll Need: An all yellow outfit (Sun), An all blue outfit (Moon), and an all silver outfit (The Stars). For some bonus pizazz, add some adhesive (or diy’ed) sun, moon, and star cutouts to each outfit!

Last but not least: Just a Good ol’ Sheet Ghost, for the Halloween Purist

What you’ll need: A white sheet and scissors. Create two holes for your eyes and that’s it! For some extra ghostly character, add a fun hat or a pair of sunglasses.

That’s it! Simple, cost effective, and you may even have some of these items in your closet already. Halloween should only be scary if you’re afraid of monsters and zombies, not because you don’t have a costume planned out. If you try out any of these ideas, be sure to tag us on IG. Happy Haunting!!
